Graeme Swann, the England offspinner, is the only player in the preliminary list for the 2012 IPL auction to command the highest reserve price of US$400,000. Two former Australia spinners, Brad Hogg and Stuart MacGill, are the oldest players on the list, at 41 and 40 respectively. Both their reserve prices have been set at $100,000.A total of 183 players have been listed for the February 4 auction that will be held in Bangalore, but that number does not include the players from the terminated Kochi Tuskers Kerala franchise. ESPNcricinfo understands they will be included in the final list for the auction. In all, the list features 120 capped players and 63 uncapped players. Zimbabwe have the highest number of international players with 25 followed by West Indies with 22. Australia have the most uncapped players with 28.Two fast bowlers, Australia’s Mitchell Johnson and England’s James Anderson, have reserve prices of $300,000. However, neither player may be available for the entire tournament. Johnson, in December, was ruled out of cricket for “five to six months” after undergoing surgery on the big toe of his left foot in Melbourne. Meanwhile England tour Sri Lanka in March and April next year before hosting West Indies in May. England’s schedule also stands to limit Swann’s participation in the IPL.West Indies are another side that will be playing international cricket during the IPL, with Australia heading there for the Frank Worrell Trophy in March and April, before the team heads to England in May. Members of Australia’s national side will also be unavailable until the Test series with West Indies ends on April 27, 2012.Among those in the $200,000 bracket are Peter Siddle, the Australia fast bowler, Matt Prior, the England wicketkeeper and Vernon Philander, who has been spectacular for South Africa in Tests since making his debut in November 2010 against Australia.While there are no current Pakistan players on the list, Azhar Mahmood, who played 21 Tests for Pakistan but is now a British citizen, finds a place. Imran Tahir, the South Africa legspinner who was born in Lahore, is also on the list. The pair will cost a minimum of $100,000 each. The 2012 IPL begins on April 4 and the final will be played on May 27. “A expectativa é das melhores. Sabemos que o Sport não está numa situação muito favorável, mas só estamos no meio da competição. Temos ainda 20 partidas para tirar o Sport dessa situação”, disse Brocador.

Esta será a segunda passagem de Hernane pelo Sport. Em 2015, o atacante fez 17 jogos e marcou apenas quatro gols.

Misbah-ul-Haq has admitted that the frailty of Pakistan’s batting is affecting the balance of the ODI side and obliging them to select an inferior wicketkeeper.Misbah, Pakistan’s captain, said the travails of the batsmen were responsible for the decision to press Umar Akmal into service as wicketkeeper. While 21-year-old Umar is a talented batsman, he has looked raw – at best – with the gloves and missed important chances in both games as England took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the four match ODI series.In the first game Umar missed a tough stumping offered by Ravi Bopara when the batsman had just 1, while in the second he dropped a straightforward chance offered by Alastair Cook when he had scored 28. Bopara went on to make a half-century; Cook went on to make a century. Had Umar taken either chance, Pakistan may well have won.Pakistan do have other options. The 26-year-old Adnan Akmal, one of Umar’s older brothers, has established himself as Pakistan’s first choice wicketkeeper in Test cricket. His problem, however, is a relative inability with the bat – he has scored two half-centuries in a 59-match List A career – while Umar is good enough to win a place as a specialist batsman.While the rest of Pakistan’s batting line-up continues to struggle – they have registered a score of 250 or more just three times in their last 27 ODIs – it renders it difficult for the selectors to compromise the team’s batting strength further by recalling a wicketkeeper who is unlikely to contribute meaningfully with the bat.”It’s a really difficult decision for us to keep a wicketkeeper – especially such a talented wicketkeeper who performed well – out of the side,” Misbah said. “But it’s due to the pressure on our batting line-up. It’s not clicking so it’s troubling us at the moment. It’s really a problem for us.”The balance of the side is the problem. In the Sri Lankan series we had the same problem. We are not having contributions from the lower middle-order. It is really an area of concern for us to play a specialist wicketkeeper. In future, we have to concentrate and find a permanent solution to that problem. The PCB, the selectors and the team management, we’re all looking for that.”Pakistan also have the option of recalling Kamran Akmal. While Kamran, at 30 the oldest of the three Akmal brothers, has not played international cricket since a poor display in the World Cup, he has five ODI centuries to his name and offers something of a compromise between Umar and Adnan. The fact that Kamran was mentioned in the spot-fixing trial that saw three of his former team-mates – Salman Butt, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir – jailed may also have counted against him. No charges have ever been brought, however, and Kamran continues to produce good performances at domestic level and in the Bangladesh Premier League.Misbah did offer some mitigation for Pakistan’s struggles. He said that losing the toss and batting under lights was a substantial disadvantage and that his side’s faults had been magnified by the conditions in the UAE.”Chasing has always been a problem for Pakistan,” he said. “Even with great players in the batting line-up we’ve struggled most of the time. When it comes to UAE conditions it’s difficult. With two new balls and batting under lights in the evening, the ball moves around a bit. Sometimes it skids; sometimes it seams. It’s really difficult for teams – particularly Asian teams – batting second. But as professionals we have to adjust.”England’s fast bowlers are bowling really well and the performance of our fast bowlers is not like that. It’s maybe due to bowling first rather than second – it’s totally different bowling under lights – so I’m really pleased the way our bowlers are performing.”Misbah also defended the selections of Imran Farhat and Shoaib Malik. Perhaps, though, there was a little more passion in his defence of the former than the latter.”Imran has played three games for us,” Misbah said. “He has scored one fifty against Afghanistan and in the last game he scored 47. So how can you say that he’s underperforming? Everyone in the batting unit has to take responsibility”Our batting line-up is underperforming and we need a sixth bowler. That’s why we asked for Shoaib Malik . He gives us five or six overs and, in the lower middle-order, he can add some runs. Sometimes you take decisions but they don’t pay off, but you still have to take decisions.”At the moment, the way everybody is performing, we have to improve. Throughout the Test series and in the ODI series, both teams are really struggling in batting. Most of the time, it is the bowling that is saving the teams.”England have performed very well in both ODIs. They have beaten us in every department. They have bowled, batted and fielded well. Their fielding has been a major difference. We are still short of performances likes theirs. We need to improve.”

Pune Warriors have suffered a setback to their IPL preparations with a knee injury ruling out the Australian allrounder James Hopes. That means Warriors now have two foreign players’ slots left to fill after the IPL governing council allowed the franchise an extra foreigner this season (in addition to the mandatory ten slots) to make up for the absence of the injured Yuvraj Singh.Hopes was bought by Warriors only last month from Delhi Daredevils. He was the second overseas player the franchise had signed this season, West Indies’ Marlon Samuels being the first.An experienced allrounder, Hopes recently led Queensland to the Sheffield Shield title with a half-century in the first innings and a five-wicket haul in the second.”It is definitely a setback to lose out on a senior player like Hopes. Having played the IPL in the previous years he would have been a handy player,” a Warriors official said.The official said the franchise was in no hurry to fill the two vacant slots. “It also does not necessarily mean we need to find an allrounder as a replacement for Hopes,” he said.According to the official there had been no fresh development on the Michael Clarke front. أكد نادي الفتح السعودي، وصوله إلى حل في قضية اللاعب البيروفي كريستيان كويفا، المحترف ضمن صفوف الفريق الكروي.

وكان كويفا قد رفض إكمال تعاقده مع الفريق وغادر البلاد دون إبلاغ ناديه، ليلزمه نادي الفتح بإكمال عقده كما هو متفق بين الطرفين.

وأشار الفتح إلى أن مسؤوليه قد وافقوا على إعارة كويفا لصفوف نادي أليانزا ليما البيروفي حتى نهاية الموسم.

وجاء ذلك بعد أن أبدى اللاعب رغبته في العودة إلى بلاده لظروف خاصة.

يذكر، أن إدارة الفتح قد أحالت ملف الثنائي البيروفي كريستيان كويفا وأليكس فاليرا إلى الإدارة القانونية في النادي والمحامي الدولي نصر الدين عزام، بعد ادعائهما فسخ عقديهما مع النادي، بسبب تأخر مستحقاتهما المالية.
