According to the Daily Record, financial fair play rules mean that Peterborough striker Jonson Clarke-Harris is likely to be out of reach for any club outside of the Premier League in England. Steven Gerrard will want new players signed in time for the beginning of Rangers’ pre-season, claims the club’s former defender Michael Ball.

The Gers have already signed Fashion Sakala and Nnamdi Ofoborh on free transfers from KV Oostende and Bournemouth respectively, adding to a squad that has the task of defending the Scottish Premiership title this forthcoming season.

O Corinthians inaugurou sua Arena em 2017 para um público próximo de 22 mil pessoas que viu um velho hábito da equipe se repetir: com gol de Marquinhos Gabriel aos 49 minutos do segundo tempo, o Timão venceu a Ferroviária por 1 a 0 na chuvosa noite desta quarta-feira. Ano novo, hábitos velhos… Além disso, o técnico Fabio Carille voltou a utilizar um time diferente em cada etapa. E os reservas levaram a melhor.

O jogo dos titulares foi até meio sonolento em Itaquera. A torcida estava disposta a fazer seu papel, mas já sofreu uma frustração enorme aos seis minutos, quando o goleiro Matheus saiu jogando errado com os pés e Guilherme dominou na entrada da área. O camisa 10 (pelo menos por enquanto) invadiu a área e chutou no cantinho, mas o goleiro se recuperou e fez a defesa. Mais demérito do chutador do que mérito do catador, que fique claro.

Cássio também fez uma boa defesa em chute de Juninho de fora da área e logo depois contou com a sorte em batida de falta de Alan Mineiro. A Ferroviária até dava trabalho, mas o Corinthians é que dominava as ações. A grande chance foi no último minuto. Após escanteio da área, Guilherme cruzou, Jô cabeceou e Matheus agarrou, mas a bola ficou viva. Giovanni Augusto deu um chute sem direção e a sobra ficou com Guilherme, que repetiu o cruzamento. Jô repetiu o cabeceio, mas desta vez para fora.

Na segunda metade da partida vieram os reservas do Corinthians. Pode ser que a Ferroviária tenha cansado, mas a verdade é que o Timão jogou melhor do que no primeiro tempo. Tô falando sério! Logo no comecinho Bruno Paulo ganhou outro presentão do goleiro Matheus, mas bateu para fora, não deu nem trabalho. Caique tentou devolver a gentileza do goleiro adversário deixando uma bola escapar, mas no fim a Ferroviária não conseguiu marcar.

Quase na metade do segundo tempo, Camacho puxou um belo contra-ataque e tocou para Romero, que acabou travado por Jonathan. A sobra ficou nos pés de Bruno Paulo, que novamente ajeitou o corpo para bater e novamente não colocou força suficiente na finalização. Logo na sequência, Marciel lançou Romero em velocidade e o artilheiro da Arena Corinthians perdeu a boa chance. Parecia que não ia sair gol…

Na sequência, rolou uma boa chance de Camacho e outra de Romero, mas a rede só balançou aos 49 minutos do segundo tempo, quando Camacho recebeu na área, girou e cruzou para Marquinhos Gabriel, que bateu firme e fez um belo gol para explodir as arquibancadas.

يرى فيل فودين لاعب مانشستر سيتي أن الفوز بالدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز سيعني المزيد هذا الموسم بسبب معركة فريقه القريبة مع ليفربول، لكنه أصر على أن المواجهة بين الفريقين يوم الأحد لن تكون “حاسمة” في السباق على اللقب.

يفصل بين البطلين مانشستر سيتي وليفربول نقطة، قبل المباراة الحاسمة في الاتحاد، والتي وصفها البعض بأنها مباراة حسم اللقب.

يعرف فريق بيب جوارديولا أن الفوز على منافسه اللدود يمكن أن يمهد الطريق للاحتفاظ بلقبه حيث سيسبق ليفربول بأربع نقاط قبل سبع مباريات متبقية، وفوز رجال يورجن كلوب من شأنه أن يجعل الريدز يقفزون إلى الصدارة.

لكن فودين الذي يستمتع بموسم لامع آخر في مانشستر، يعتقد أنه سيكون هناك الكثير من التقلبات والانعطافات في سباق اللقب.

وقال لشبكة “سكاي سبورتس”: “فريقان يتنافسان على الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز، قريبان جدًا في النقاط، إنها أكبر مباراة ولعبة يرغب جميع لاعبي كرة القدم في اللعب فيها، أعتقد أنه سيكون هناك الكثير من المحايدين الذين يشاهدونها أيضًا، ستكون مباراة مسلية”.

According to the ever-reliable ExWHUemployee, the 28-year-old midfielder could be set to sign a new contract at Manchester United after holding talks with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and if he does, that will all but end the Irons’ hopes of securing him this summer.

“Whilst this story could drag on for most of the summer, at this point it appears that whilst we have interest, it will be hard for us to convince Manchester United to sell him and that they could be preparing a new contract for him.

“Ole has spoken to the player and has said he is prepared to give him a chance to prove himself, which Lingard is set to be keen on.  His heart has always been torn but following discussions, it does appear that Ole is prepared to give him another chance to prove himself.

“There are a number of clubs circulating as well but it seems at the moment that his most likely destination is to remain at the club.”

Ex has previously described Lingard as David Moyes’ “main target” and claimed that the player himself “loves West Ham,” so this saga is by no means over but if he does sign a new deal, then that would obviosuly indicate that he plans to stay in Manchester.
