بحث أشرف صبحي وزير الشباب والرياضة مع حسن مصطفي رئيس الاتحاد الدولي لليد، واللجنة المنظمة لبطولة العالم للعبة، آخر المستجدات والتجهيزات والاستعدادات وكل ما يتعلق باستضافة الحدث.

وتستضيف مصر بطولة العالم لكرة اليد في نسختها الـ27 خلال الفترة من 13 إلى 31 يناير 2021.

في بداية الاجتماع ، أوضح وزير الشباب والرياضة الدكتور أشرف صبحي الخطط التي اتخذتها الحكومة المصرية مؤخراً بشأن تشديد الإجراءات الاحترازية والوقائية من فيروس كورونا ، موضحاً قدرة الدولة على التعامل بحزم مع المخالفين وبخاصة فترة إقامة البطولة، وكذلك مع دخول فصل الشتاء.

وطمأن وزير الشباب والرياضة رئيس الاتحاد الدولي لليد علي كافة الاستعدادات بالبطولة، بداية من وصول الفرق والوفود المرافقة، وصولاً للفنادق وصالات التدريب وصالات إقامة المباريات، وحتى انتهاء الفعاليات ومغادرة كافة الوفود.

وأبدى أشرف صبحي إعجابه الشديد لما وصلت إليه البنية التحتية الرياضية وبخاصة الصالات الأربع المستضيفة لبطولة العالم لليد وما ستضيفه، معللاً ذلك بأن البطولات الكبرى في مختلف المجالات تضيف للبنية الأساسية.

من جانبه، وجه حسن مصطفى الشكر لرئيس الجمهورية ورئيس  الحكومة ووزير الشباب والرياضة وكافة الوزراء المعنيين لإصرارهم علي خروج البطولة بأفضل شكل ممكن رغم ظروف جائحة كورونا، مؤكداً أنه لا توجد أي مشكلة خاصة بالمنتخبات حتى هذه اللحظة .

وأكد رئيس الاتحاد الدولي لليد التفكير في مخاطبة شركات اللقاح العالمية لتوفير تطعيمات للمنتخبات وكافة المرافقين بالتنسيق مع الحكومة المصرية ممثلة في وزارة الشباب والرياضة .

جاء ذلك خلال الاجتماع الأسبوعي الذي يجريه وزير الشباب والرياضة مع اللجنة المنظمة للبطولة للوقوف على آخر الاستعدادات والتجهيزات الخاصة بالبطولة.

وحضر اللقاء حسن مصطفى رئيس الاتحاد الدولي لليد، وهشام نصر رئيس الاتحاد المصري، وحسين لبيب مدير البطولة، وأحمد الشيخ المدير التنفيذي للوزارة، وقيادات وزارة الشباب والرياضة، ورؤساء اللجان المعنية.

Rangers are interested in making a move for Kilmarnock forward Eamonn Brophy this summer, according to TEAMtalk.

What’s the story?

It appears to be a policy of Steven Gerrard’s to bring the best Scottish Premiership talent to Rangers, with moves completed in recent months for Glen Kamara, Jordan Jones and Jake Hastie.

Brophy is another who impressed in the top-flight through 2018/19 and TEAMtalk reckon that the Scottish top flight runners-up are looking at the Killie man as someone who can potentially replace Alfredo Morelos if he is sold for big money this summer.

Morelos replacement?

To suggest that Brophy can come in and match the contribution of Morelos is perhaps overstating things a little, but if Rangers are interested it makes complete sense as back-up to both the Colombian and Jermain Defoe.

Brophy scored 12 goals for Kilmarnock this season, proving to be a key part of Steve Clarke side that delivered European football at Rugby Park, finishing ahead of Aberdeen in the table.

It was form impressive enough for him to receive his first Scotland call-up for next month’s qualifiers against Cyprus and Belgium.

A thorn in Rangers’ side

Two of those goals came against Rangers in wins for Killie in January and on the last day of the season. The first saw him expose a mistake in the Gers defence with a smart, cool-headed finish while his most recent effort was from the penalty spot, perfectly dispatched while under significant pressure.

Kyle Lafferty’s move from Hearts last season hasn’t worked out the way anyone at Ibrox would have hoped and Brophy definitely has the ability to arrive in Glasgow and replace his presence.

By signing him, it also weakens one of the toughest sides Rangers faced this term – why not go out and grab the players who directly punished you?

وتابع: “مررنا بمواقف كثيرة، أبارك للأهلي ولمجلس إدارته ومحمود الخطيب، لحظة انتظرتها جماهير الأهلي منذ 7 سنوات”.

اختتم: “رغم كل ما يحدث والانتقادات التي تعرضنا لها وصلنا للنهائي 3 مرات أمام الوداد والترجي واليوم مع الزمالك”.

Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara is a transfer target for English Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion, as reported by website TEAMtalk.

What’s the story?

Kamara only joined the Gers from Dundee in the January transfer window, signing for a bargain fee of just £100,000 according to The Scottish Sun.

Since then he’s shown remarkable progress in Steven Gerrard’s first-team and has become very popular with supporters.

TEAMtalk say that new Brighton boss Graham Potter is a fan of the player and had previously tried to sign him before he made the switch to Ibrox, when manager of Swansea.

The outlet reckon that the Seagulls are now ready to make an offer and test the Gers’ desire to hold on to him.

Gerrard’s best signing

Gerrard has made loads of signings already since arriving at Ibrox last year, but considering the fee and the impact that the Finnish international has had on the Rangers midfield, there’s a strong case to be made that the 23-year-old is in fact the manager’s best transfer to date.

He has composure, poise, vision and a determination to get stuck into the ugly side of the game too. If you combine all that with excellent potential then it builds a picture of Rangers being onto a real winner.

His surging run and assist for Scott Arfield in the most recent derby against Celtic was a perfect example of why the club would be mad to sell him right now.

The midfielder will improve even more with a longer run in the Gers team and with the club looking to chase the Hoops down next season, Gerrard will need to retain his best players.

Kamara is already in that category and so the club must resist any offers for him over the next few months.

Indeed, Team Talk have reported that Newcastle are one of a number of clubs who have asked Juventus about the possibility of taking the 21-year-old on-loan.Clearly, Newcastle are in serious need of attacking reinforcements. Solomon Rondon, who won Player of the Year last season, has now returned to West Brom after completing his loan spell and the Birmingham Mail have reported that the Venezuelan forward is to be offered to Fenerbahce, with the current manager and owner questions at Newcastle placing doubt on a deal.Furthermore, the Sun have reported that Wolves are also interested in Rondon, who has a £16.5m release clause in his contract. This isn’t to say last season’s No.9 shall not be returning to Newcastle, but it’s important to mention the man Mavididi would be replacing. Frankly, he would certainly have big shoes to fill, after Rondon netted 11 times and claimed seven assists in 32 league games last season.Now, how do Mavididi’s stats compare? Well, not particularly well. The forward has made just one appearance for Juventus, making little impact but he does have six goals in 27 games for Juventus’ U-23 side, which is certainly encouraging. Still, his goal record in England perhaps doesn’t match. The 2017-18 season saw the Englishman loaned out both the Charlton and Preston – League One and the Championship respectively where he totalled two goals in 24 appearances. Worrying.Of course, Mavdidi is still only 21-years-old and yes, he certainly has time to develop. But at this stage of his career, he must be recognised as nothing more than a prospect. While Newcastle may indeed be looking at him as a signing for the future, he simply cannot be brought to the club as Rondon’s replacement – it’s just too big a risk.The whole team only scored 42 goals over the course of the Premier League campaign, after all. Yes, signing young players is exciting and comes with obvious merits but relying on a player of this profile if Rondon does depart to bring goals to the team seems really rather reckless.Newcastle fans, what do you think of the situation? After a rather successful loan spell at Hoffenheim, Reiss Nelson is set to return to Arsenal as his time in Germany comes to an end.

However, before he can start the new season as one of the Gunners once again, he’ll be joining his England U-21 squad in their European Championship campaign this summer. Nelson is one of the 23 players called up by Aidy Boothroyd and the youngster posted a snap on Instagram showing the team in preparation on the training ground.

Nelson is one of the four strikers called up and has already managed five appearances for the team so far, netting two goals in the process. The 19-year-old has two titles under his belt, including the U-21 Premier League, but is yet to taste success on the international stage.

England will be in group C with Croatia, France and Romania and will definitely be hoping to replicate and improve on their semi-final appearance from two summers ago.

According to The Sun, Leeds United want to sign Bournemouth goalkeeper Mark Travers.

There have been previous reports that United want to sign a new goalkeeper this summer, but Marcelo Bielsa must consider what this arrival would do to his current players.

Need a keeper

It’s hard to argue with Leeds targeting a goalie this summer. Kiko Casilla’s arrival in January hasn’t been as successful as the Yorkshire outfit would have liked as the errors he made played a significant role in their playoff semi-final defeat.

Bailey Peacock-Farrell has also proven to be error-prone at times, but the Yorkshire side can’t just cast aside these two players as they may need to call on them at some point in the future.

No new deal for BPF

Casilla may reportedly be on his way out of Elland Road this summer, so it might not matter what this arrival means for him, but for Peacock-Farrell signing could spell the end of his Elland Road career.

Reports state that Leeds are set to offer the stopper a new deal this summer, but they’re sending mixed messages to the keeper by then bringing in Travers and pushing him down the pecking order, and he may be encouraged to leave.

Indeed, it would be a tough sell to convince the Northern Irishman that he should stay at Elland Road, even more so when you consider his recent comments where he said he would be looking at leaving if he wasn’t assured he would get game time.

Travers would only be a loan signing if he arrived. Meaning that if United fail to go up next season they may be without a senior goalkeeper for 2020/21 as Peacock-Farrell’s recent statements make it seem unlikely that he will sign a new deal if the Bournemouth goalkeeper arrives on loan.
