Se contra o Bahia o buraco se mostrou mais fundo do que aparentava, a questão pode piorar, pois os próximos jogos só terão adversário de nível igual ou maior: Ceará e Athletico-PR, que brigam na mesma faixa da tabela, Flamengo, que luta pelo título, Santos, um clássico, Vasco, na briga contra o Z4 e Internacional, que é mais um na intensa disputa pelo campeonato brasileiro.
Sendo assim, o caminho para o G6 (ou G7 ou G8) parece cada vez mais improvável. Não tanto pela pontuação, já que apenas seis pontos separam o Corinthians do Grêmio, o sexto colocado, mas sim pela postura do time recentemente. Wolverhampton Wanderers didn't take long to find their feet under Gary O'Neil, despite how late his arrival came before the Premier League season kicked off. Plans are being considered to add a statue of Wes Hall outside the Kensington Oval in Barbados.Hall, now aged 81, enjoyed an excellent career as a fast bowler with West Indies before becoming a respected administrator. He also served as a minister for tourism and sport in the Barbados government and qualified as an ordained minister. He remains hugely popular in Barbados and has a stand named after him and his opening partner, Charlie Griffith, at the ground.As a player, his career highlights include the first Test hat-trick by a West Indies player – against Pakistan in 1959 – and a leading part in a maiden series victory over Australia in 1964-65. He also bowled the final over in the tied-Test at Brisbane in 1961 and helped West Indies to victory over England in 1963. Desmond Haynes recently named him among his best-ever Barbados XI.There is already a statue of Garry Sobers on the approach to Kensington Oval. Originally unveiled in Wildey, a few kilometres outside of Bridgetown, in 2002, it was moved to the ground ahead of the World Cup in the Caribbean in 2007. The plan is for the statue of Hall to complement that of Sobers, which has become something of a tourist attraction in its own right.Meanwhile, CWI has estimated that the economic impact of hosting this Test is worth up to US$40m to the Barbadian economy. Mason Burstow is the attacker in dire need of a goal and looking at what Still did for Folarin Balogun at Reims, there must be cautious excitement if the Black Cats are successful in their pursuit of the Belgian hot property as manager.

Still coming into the building could be just what Burstow needs to kick on, Arsenal youngster Balogan's speedy progression under the eclectic Belgian manager is proof that Still can enhance raw talents and develop them quickly.
The American striker would go on to score 22 goals from 39 appearances under Still's guidance at Reims during the 2022/23 season, going on to be successful elsewhere at fellow Ligue 1 outfit AS Monaco.
Burstow is currently way down the pecking order at the Stadium of Light however, featuring for the Sunderland U21's recently instead of starting in the senior set-up with a spot on the substitutes bench customary now for the 20-year-old.
Still would assess the full squad at his disposal if he is was appointed as the next Sunderland manager and give everyone the time of day though, Burstow praying that his game could come on on leaps and bounds under the current Reims boss.
